An introduction service: you hear the firm's name before your details go anywhere.

How this service works

Birmingham Bed Bug Treatment does not treat bed bugs itself. It is a small introduction service for the Birmingham City Council area. This page follows a request from the form to the specialist's first visit, and explains who pays for the service.

The four steps

  1. You send the request

A postcode, the type of home, the signs so far, and a phone number and email. At this point only we hold your details.

  2. We pick a specialist

We look for a bed bug specialist who already works in your part of Birmingham and handles your kind of property, from a terrace in Small Heath to a hotel in the city centre.

  3. We tell you who it is

We phone or email with the firm's name. Agree and the job goes to them; decline and that is the end of it. They still do not have your details until you agree.

  4. They inspect and price the job

The specialist comes round, establishes what is there, and sets out a plan with a fixed price. Whether you book, and the payment, are between you and them.

What we do

  • Choose a single nearby firm for the job and name it to you.
  • Pass on your details only once you have said yes.
  • Hold your answers privately and erase them on request.

What we do not do

  • Charge you anything, at any stage.
  • Price your job. Only someone who has seen it can do that.
  • Give medical advice about bites, or send you marketing.

How we are paid

The firm we introduce you to pays us a fee for the introduction. You pay nothing, whether or not you book. We are independent and have no link with any pest control company whose name looks like ours.

Where our figures and advice come from

The price ranges are taken from two published national cost guides, each linked and dated where it is used. We do not show a council price, because we could not confirm Birmingham City Council's current bed bug service. The temperatures and timings come from British Pest Control Association guidance and published laboratory research, and the advice on spotting bed bugs and coping before treatment follows the NHS. None of this is medical advice: ask a pharmacist or GP about a bite or rash that worries you.

Request a bed bug treatment

Three short steps. Detail about the home and the signs helps us choose the right specialist and helps them price it accurately.

What happens after you send the request
1We read the request and pick a bed bug specialist who covers your postcode and your type of property.
2We get in touch to tell you who that is, by name.
3Only if you say yes do they receive your details and contact you to arrange a visit.

This is a free introduction service, not a pest control firm. No firm rings you about it until you have accepted the one we put forward.
