Bed bug fumigation: what it really means in a UK home
Real fumigation means a toxic gas in a sealed space, handled only by qualified fumigators, and it is very seldom used against bed bugs in British homes. When firms or people say fumigation for bed bugs, they usually mean a professional spray course, fogging, or heat treatment. Shop-bought foggers have been shown in research to do little against bed bugs.
